Frostbite is a set of hardcore, gritty, simulationist, system-neutral mechanics for implementing weather and weather survival into your tabletop roleplaying games.

It is meant to be mostly realistic, based on my years of experience living, working, and recreating outdoors, as well as my high-school education, and the vast wisdom of Google-Sensei. Everything that is not completely realistic is a necessary sacrifice for the sake of ease, because this is a game, after all.

So if you’re ready to get your grit on and survive the harshest of Winters, then grab some warm boots and extra rations. You’ll need them.
